Mr. D&D - Tuning Slip-on Mufflers

Question – D&D Slip-on for 2007 Harley-Davidson Softail:
I purchased a pair of slip-ons for my 2007 Harley Davidson Softail Deluxe after I had Harley-Davidson put on a Screaming Eagle Stage 1 kit.
When they DYNO this in, I had the original stock mufflers on.
My question is this. I live in California my bike comes with a 02 sensor, the shop that put on my slip-on indicated to me that no adjustment would be necessary because the 02 sensor would pick up the minor change and make the correction. Is this correct? If not, am I damaging my engine?
P.S. I will tell you this I am totally happy with these slip-ons, the sound is awesome, and will recommend theses to everyone looking for a change.

Answer:
Slip-ons require little or no tuning. If the bike does not Backfire on decelerate or hesitate on acceleration and the plugs are not bright white (Tan is best) Then all should be ok. Some bikes require tuning with slip-ons some do not. It’s just the nature of the beast.
On the other hand, full systems like our 2 into 1 or 2 into 2 pipes will require tuning. Race Tuners, Power Commanders, Factory Downloads, and Zippers ECU units, have been tested on our dyno and have shown superior results.
