Question – D&D Slip-on for 2007 Harley-Davidson V-ROD:
My buddy has a new V-Rod and wants only to have a little more good sound but not end up with an overly loud bike. We have looked at your slip-on pipes for the V-Rod and he likes the look.
I have 3 questions:
Answer:
The Slip-ons will be louder than the stock Harley-Davidson exhaust pipes. And a tuner may be required as the slip-ons do flow more than the normal.
Exhaust Check
After you install the D&D slip-on exhaust pipes, warm the bike to normall operating temperature and see if it pops on decell and or has a flat spot on acceleration. If either of these symptoms occur then a tuner will be required to bring the system into a proper tune.
Race Tuners, Power Commanders, Factory Downloads and Zippers ECU units have been tested on our dyno and have shown superior results.

If you have a motorcycle pipe question then you have come to the right place. Send your performance exhaust question to Mr. D&D at
