Rash is Racing in Bonneville for a world record

Bonneville is a tough place. The 65 square miles of salt creates its own weather. On any given day it can rain, thunder, hail and then turn sunny.

During Speed Week the weather was bad until Wednesday. Then the bikes were lined up to get on the salt. D&D had a few mechanical challenges and worked feverishly to get the V-Bike ready to go. Bob Dowdy talks to Thunder Bob about getting out on the salt on the last day to get the final run of the meet.

The V-Bike bike was geared for 175mph and the team is shooting for 165mph.

Team D&D built the D&D / Custom Chrome motorbike, #1160, as a modified V-Bike kit from Custom Chrome with the Rev-Tech motor puched out to 116 CID or 1905 cc.

Bonneville Recap
The team got to the 2007 speed trials early but weather and the BUB Speed Week operational issues at the meet precluded the D&D team from making a record run.
