Triumph has unveiled a longer-legged version of its super-sized triple, the Rocket III Touring. The Touring is Triumph’s bagger.
Changes have been made to the frame, wheels, suspension, seat, fuel tank, instruments, and lights.
D&D has added a custom touch too. The new performance and economy kit includes the D&D Rocket III slip-on pipes & K&N Filter kit for significant horsepower and torque gains... sweet!
Results
Our Rocket III Pipe & Air Kit package increase HP by as much as 17% and Torque by as much as 10%. To ensure that the added performance is breathing correctly a Triumph EFI download numbered #20235 is required.

The D&D pipes are slant cut to match the saddlebags. They retain the stock heat shields.
Triumph Rocket III Touring
Triumph's 2294cc 3 cylinder Rocket III motorcycle has the largest proprietary motorcycle engine in the world. It's regarded as the most powerful cruiser on the planet.

One option of 70 some options available is a quick release screen and mirrors. It's a five speed. Fuel arrives through a multi-point sequential electronic fuel injection twin butterflies with progressive linkage on primary butterflies.
The Touring's final drive is shaft. The front brake is 320mm floating discs linked to Nissan 4-piston fixed calipers. The rear brake is single 316mm fixed disc with a Brembo 2-piston floating caliper.
The suspension is adjustable. The rear tire is a 180/70 R16 and the front tire is a 150/80 R16. There is 32 degrees of rake and 7.28 ” of trail. The gas tank holds 4.9 gallons.
The latest incarnation of the Rocket III is considered by many to be both “nimble” and “agile,” demonstrating superior low speeds maneuvering to outshine the class of the field: Honda’s Gold Wing.
Nimble Geometry
Triumph narrowed the front wheel to 16-inches and along with other small changes made the Touring a more nimble-handling motorcycle.
