Neil Scot Sterling's 2007 Triumph Rocket III is Classic Pacific Blue/ New England White.
With my stock pipes; I got comments that my RIII sounded like a sewing machine.
They were very quiet even when I gave the throttle a good twist. With the D&D pipes, my RIII sounds more like the 140 cubic inch beast that she is. The sound is not deafening loud like some bikes but it's enough to turn heads when I go by.
Now I get comments that she has a nice throaty sound and when I give the throttle a good twist; she roars. On the highway, the D&D pipes have a nice deep sound that can lull you to sleep (not in a bad way).
As for performance, I noticed a little more snap when I twist the throttle. The only other performance mods to her is a modified tune downloaded via Tuneboy.
The pipes also have a nice clean look to them.
Rock on Neil, your bike has a nice smooth look.
