Brad has been racing since the young age of 6. He currently attends high school in Pe Ell, Washington where he is a Senior and an honor student, even with a very busy racing schedule.
Brad's hard work has not only shown up in his schooling but also in his racing. He started racing at the age of 6 and hasn't stopped! He has since won 6 National Championships as an amateur and 1 National Championship in his rookie year as an AMA Pro. Brad also claimed the AMA Dirt Track Horizon Award in 2008 which recognizes the stand-out rider from the AMA Dirt Track Championship who demonstrates both on and off the track that he is poised for success in the pro ranks. The award has a huge tradition of success and Brad has been one to carry it even further.
In February of 2009, Brad turned 16 and received his license to race as an AMA Pro, less than a month later he won is first ever Grand National Pro Main event in Daytona Beach, FL. Throughout the rest of the year, he claimed 4 more wins and podiumed 10 out of 13 races. This was more than enough to claim his first ever National Championship in his pro career.
When Brad isn't racing in the Grand Nationals Series, you can find him at smaller races across the country, doing what he loves to do and working on becoming a better racer. In 2010 Brad stayed in the pro classes to defend his title, which isn't an easy task considering he is racing against the best racers in the world. It was a tough season but he still pulled off winning 4 times and podiumed 12 times out of 16 races. He had a great run and earned himself 2nd place in the championship. In addition to his great season, AMA Pro Racing gave him a provisional license to race the AMA Twins Class at three events during the season. The 2011 Season will be an amazing one for Brad, Scott, and the Baker Boys Racing Team...
